Saint Paul file RES 26-1383, before the Saint Paul City Council. Passed as of 2026-09-02.
Latest action: Passed
Property owners on Eustis Street pay for road resurfacing. Owners of land along Eustis Street will receive a tax bill to cover the cost of milling and overlaying (resurfacing) the road from the city limits to 100 feet south of the city limits.
Better roads mean safer travel and easier access nearby. Resurfaced roads reduce potholes and cracking, which improves safety for drivers and can reduce wear on vehicles across the neighborhood.
Property owners pay the full cost through special assessments. Unlike general city repairs funded by all residents, this cost falls only on property owners on or near Eustis Street, so their tax bills rise while others' do not.
