Real-time heat data helps predict dangerous hot days Sensors across Ramsey County will measure neighborhood temperatures and alert you when heat risks spike, so you know when to take precautions.
Local planners get data to cool down hottest neighborhoods The county will use heat maps to decide where to plant trees, paint streets white, or add green space in areas hit hardest by heat waves.
Benefits depend on how county acts on the data Having temperature sensors is only the first step; real relief for residents requires the county to then fund and build cooling projects in those hot spots.
